Stability Margins of L1 Adaptive Controller: Part II

چکیده
In Part I of this paper, [1], we have developed a novel L1 adaptive control architecture that enables fast adaptation and leads to uniformly bounded transient and asymptotic tracking for system’s both signals, input and output, simultaneously. In this paper, we derive the stability margins of L1 adaptive control architecture, including time-delay and gain margins in the presence of time-varying bounded disturbance. Simulations verify the theoretical findings.

Mini/Micro-Grid Adaptive Voltage and Frequency Stability Enhancement Using Q-learning Mechanism
This paper develops an adaptive control method for controlling frequency and voltage of an islanded mini/micro grid (M/µG) using reinforcement learning method. Reinforcement learning (RL) is one of the branches of the machine learning, which is the main solution method of Markov decision process (MDPs). Among the several solution methods of RL, the Q-learning method is used for solving RL in th...

In this paper we exploit the connection between disturbance observer and L1 adaptive control theories. We consider L1 adaptive output–feedback control framework, for which the L1 reference controller is equivalent to the disturbance observer. Using this fact, we investigate several properties of the disturbance observer architecture, leading to various filter design methods towards verification...
متن کاملModified L1 Adaptive Control Design for Satellite FMC Systems with Actuators Time Delay
A modified method for satellite attitude control system in presence of novel actuators is proposed in this paper. The attitude control system is composed of three fluidic momentum controller (FMC) actuators that are used to control Euler angles and their dynamics is considered in satellite attitude equations as well. L1 adaptive control is utilized for satellite three-axial ...

The main goal of this research is to design a new digital controller for a boost-switching converter in Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM), which operates in Voltage Mode Control (VMC). Boost converter transfer function in the mentioned modes have one Right Half Plane (RHP) zero and a pair of complex poles while their places are severely dependent on input voltage, reference voltage and converter...
متن کاملRobustness Analysis of an L1 Adaptive Controller
NASA’s Generic Transport Model (GTM) is a remote-controlled, 5.5 percent scale commercial aircraft. An L1 adaptive controller was recently designed and flight tested on the GTM. Oscillations in the elevator command were observed at 1.4 to 2 Hertz during the first flight test in September 2009. In most flight conditions the L1 adaptive controller can be approximated by a linear time-invariant sy...
